The short version: Boilerplate World gives you standard fill-in-the-blank forms. You choose what goes in them, you decide whether to sign them, and you are responsible for them.

What Boilerplate World is

Boilerplate World offers standard forms, such as bills of sale, rental agreements, notices, and contracts, that you fill in by answering plain questions. It shows your answers inside the form as you type, and gives you a clean copy to print or save. It also offers plain-language tips and information about paperwork.

What it is not

We are not a law firm, and we do not give legal, tax, or financial advice. Using this site does not create an attorney-client or any other professional relationship. We do not file anything for you, check your answers, or represent you. Rules differ from state to state and change over time, and a standard form may not fit your situation. Read the finished form carefully before you sign it, and make sure it says what you mean.

AI-written tips

The state tips are written by AI. AI can make mistakes, including about rules, deadlines, and forms. Treat the tips as a starting point and check with the right state office before you rely on them.

Using the site

• Use Boilerplate World for your own paperwork, or for someone who has asked you to help them.
• Give accurate information. Do not use a form to make false statements or for anything unlawful.
• Do not try to bypass payment, overload the site, or interfere with how it works.
• Do not copy the site's forms in bulk to sell or republish them.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you type and of the finished document you build. You give us permission to process your answers only as needed to build your clean copy. See our Privacy page for how it is handled.

Pricing and payment

You can fill in a form and read the preview for free. The clean copy, with no highlights and no preview mark, is paid. The price is shown before you pay. One payment covers one form, and you can rebuild its clean copy a limited number of times to fix a typo. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Refunds

If you are charged and your clean copy does not appear, or something breaks, email us and we will fix it or refund you. Because you can see the full preview before you pay and your clean copy is delivered right away, other payments are not refundable except where the law requires it.

No warranties

Boilerplate World is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free, that a form will be valid or enforceable where you live, or that it will meet your needs.

Limit of our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, SHORE AI LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost money, property, rights, or opportunities, arising from your use of the site or any form. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Changes and ending

We may change the site, the forms, or these terms, and we will update the date above. We may suspend access for misuse. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere.
